All students at the International German School of Brussels start classes at 8:00 a.m. For classes 5 to 9, the classes end at 3:40 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. On Wednesdays and Fridays, the classes end at 1:10 p.m. Due to the possible subject selection in classes 10 – 12, some of the students in secondary school can have classes until 5:20 p.m. For the younger students, an afternoon care program is offered until 6:00 p.m. A typical day for a secondary school students could look like this:

After classes and during lunch break, the work groups and lunch break programs round off the day with interesting and challenging activities in the art, music, and sports fields.
