Our team of sports teachers provides exercise in two modernly equipped gymnasiums. We offer three hours of physical education for grades 5 and 6. The high school has a ball sports field in the playground, several table tennis tables for table tennis fans and a variety of equipment for the “Bewegte Pause”. A small weight room can be used by high school students during lunch breaks to build muscle. Regularly organized gymnastics festivals are part of school life.
We adapt our diverse afternoon sports program to the interests of our students. The offerings therefore vary from year to year.
The iDSB participates in numerous sporting comparisons with Flemish and German schools. We send our best swimmers to the annual swimming marathon in Eupen. The proceeds are donated to social projects.
Young people from a wide range of countries meet in Brussels every 2 years to take on the sporting challenges of the European Games at the iDSB.
The athletes compete in three ball sports and three athletics disciplines to take home the coveted trophy at the end.
In addition to the sporting exchange, we offer a colorful supporting program.
