iDSB summer party – a great success
The big iDSB summer party to celebrate the 222nd anniversary took place on Saturday in perfect weather – a successful celebration for the whole school community.
The primary school choir kicked off the event with cheerful songs and created a musical atmosphere. The focus was also on thanking our dedicated parents, who take on voluntary tasks throughout the school year – be it in the primary school library, in the parents’ café, at the flea market or at the Christmas market. Their tireless support has a significant impact on school life.
There was a varied children’s programme for our young guests: face painting, soap bubbles, balloon art, a bouncy castle and small circus exercises brought bright children’s eyes and cheerful laughter.
The festival was also a culinary hit: from the classic sausage grill to pizza, börek and home-baked cakes to a selection of wines, beers and non-alcoholic refreshments, there was something for every taste.
An all-round successful summer party that we will remember for a long time to come!
