The exciting musical theatre, ‘Die rote Zora’, by Years 8 and 9

This year’s secondary school musical, ‘The Red Zora’, took the audience on two evenings into a story full of courage, solidarity and rebellion.

The performances are about a gang of orphans, led by the fearless Zora, who have to face the circumstances of their lives in a small harbour town. The play allowed the audience to experience the children’s struggles and dreams at first hand.

The pupils were convincing with their clever acting, which was well complemented by successful group performances, beautiful music and choreographed scenes. The mixture of good songs, exciting scenes and heartfelt moments brought the story of the ‘Red Zora’ to life.

Special praise goes to the entire crew – from the talented actors to the dedicated teachers Mrs Kocher and Mrs Nielsen to the band and everyone involved behind the scenes for music, sound and lighting. Their combined commitment and passion made ‘Die Rote Zora’ an impressive experience.

We are already looking forward to the next production and are excited to see what creative stories await us in the coming year!
