Have you ever had an ice rink all to yourselves?

On Wednesday, pupils in Years 1 to 4 at iDSB went on a trip to Haasrode. In the morning, two double-decker buses took them to the local ice rink, which was reserved exclusively for the group.

Throughout the morning, the children were able to test their skills on the ice and clearly enjoyed the sporting activity. But it wasn’t just the pupils who got their money’s worth: the accompanying adults also took the opportunity to get active themselves. Regardless of age, all participants showed great commitment and enthusiasm.

The trip thus offered a successful combination of exercise, shared experience and fun in sport.
