Atmospheric lantern parade
Yesterday, in beautiful autumn weather, the children from KiBi and the first grade gathered for our annual lantern festival. With glowing lanterns, they made their way through the neighbourhood. The highlight of the evening was the St. Martin’s horse, which, with its rider, recalled the legendary story of St. Martin, who shared his cloak with a beggar.
After the parade, there was hot punch and mulled wine, which warmed everyone up wonderfully and created a festive atmosphere. And of course, there was a gingerbread man for every child!
Our lantern festival was once again a wonderful event for young and old alike.
