222 years old a reason to celebrate: summer party at iDSB

iDSB is celebrating its 222nd anniversary with a big summer party on Saturday, 5 July 2025, from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. on the secondary school grounds.

The festival will begin with a musical opening by the primary school choir. Afterwards, visitors can look forward to a varied family programme with fun and games for children, culinary delights – both sweet and savoury – as well as refreshing drinks and food stalls.

‘We are looking forward to celebrating this special occasion with the entire school community and guests,’ says Petra van den Beukel, Head of Administration at iDSB. ‘The summer festival offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the diversity and togetherness at our school.’

The iDSB looks back on a long tradition and has been committed to providing excellent education and promoting international understanding for 222 years. The summer festival is the highlight of the anniversary celebrations and is open to all interested parties.
