When the world changes, school programs must change with it. At the International German School of Brussels we prapare our students for the world of tomorrow. Founded in 1803, the private school is supported by the traditional German School Association of Brussels. Since 2008, the school has been certified as an Excellent German School Abroad and is part of an international quality network. Our students pass with above average examination results and move on to become successful graduates both nationally and internationally. The school currently has approximately 560 students and about 100 staff members.

The location in Brussels is particularly identified with its central role as a European capital and its associated cultural diversity. The Savoir-Vivre plays an important role both in the Flemish and the Walloon part of the country, hence the corresponding significance of the excellent Belgian culinary delights. The proximity to interesting cities within Belgium, such as Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges, as well as international hotspots, such as Paris and London, gives Brussels an additional charm. In addition, the proximity to the North Sea coast and the Ardennes offers an elegant diversity and an opportunity for numerous leisure activities.
